Accounting Memberships

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the largest global professional accountancy body, with nearly 300,000 members and students in 160 countries. ACCA's headquarters are in London and has an extensive network of over 60 staffed offices and other centres around the world.

ACCA's mission is to provide quality professional opportunities to people of ability and application, be a leader in the development of the global accountancy profession, promote the highest ethical and governance standards, work in the public interest and be a leader in the knowledge-based profession of the 21st century.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales is the largest professional accountancy body in Europe, with over 120,000 members. The Institute's qualification, which allows members to call themselves Chartered Accountants and to use the designatory letters ACA or FCA, is recognised around the world as a prestigious business qualification.

The Institute operates under a Royal Charter, working in the public interest, and its primary objectives are:

to educate and train Chartered Accountants
to maintain high standards for professional conduct among members
to provide services to its members and students
to advance the theory and practice of accountancy
