About Pevensey

Pevensey is a small village in the Wealden district of East Sussex, located roughly 5 miles from Eastbourne and 1.5 miles in-land from popular Pevensey Bay. 

Located in 1066 Country, Pevensey is famed for being the landing location of William The Conqueror during his invasion of England in 1066 after crossing the channel from Normandy, France. 

Despite being a small village, it has a strong history, rooted in both its occupancy by both the Romans and the Normans.
